Insurance Card Scan Module

Just think, no longer needing to leave your desk to make a copy of a patients insurance card. A little card scanner” will be right next to your PC, on your desk, and just zip the insurance card through, and the card is now in MEDENT. When it is clicked on, the front and back side of the card can float” on your screen so you can enter in data while reading it off the card. When the patient arrives at the office with a new card it can be scanned in right over the current one. The card scans directly into the patients information screen when the account is being added into MEDENT or after the fact offering good office work flow flexibility. This capability is also available in the Rolodex for business cards as well. This module requires the purchase of the module and the card scanner, that it is programmed to work with, and its installaton.
