E-SuperBill

E-Superbill is the new and exciting way of billing. It is designed to save you time and money and labor, and will eventually replace the bulky forms used for the old paper Superbill. Simply run this feature from the computerized Medical Records System using "realtime" mode.

The old Superbills commonly used today cause extra work and make the whole process take longer. Now, with MEDENT's E-Superbill, you still receive all the same information, but all with the ease of a few strokes of the keyboard. Use the E-Superbill for a credit check before an appointment, or as a routing slip so the provider can circle or check the diagnosis rendered, and what services were performed. With a touch you can see the patient's balance, what portion of the balance is owed by the patient, and what portion is pending from insurance. E-Superbill records new charges and payments for that day's appointment, plus it gives you a complete record of the services performed, containing complete insurance information and all the information for the next appointment. You simply print out a copy and give it to the patient as they leave. They have their information and you have a copy to be entered into the computer at your own convenience. At the end of the day, simply balance the activity recorded on your E-Superbills to your computer system.

MEDENT is designed to efficiently produce these E-Superbills in whatever way is best for you. The computer generates forms with the patient's name, time of the appointment, or whichever way you prefer, even if the patient is not yet in your computer. Print out blank forms for unexpected walk-in patients. Print out forms one at a time as patients arrive, or print them all out by doctor, in time sequence, so they can be merged with that day's scheduled appointments.
